Twisted Candles Are Our Latest Obsession And They're Super Easy To DIY

There's nothing quite like a fun DIY, especially an easy one that can be used to make any room come together.

As usual, TikTok has us covered with a fun and creative tutorial on how to make some pretty twisted candles.

No one had to tell us twice before we were ready to try our own hands making some of these unique candles.

These candles are pretty lit.

TikTok user Ellen Martin breaks down the process of making twisted candles with ease, and we are all for it.

The first thing you have to do is pick up a long candle, like a taper or paraffin candle, which can be purchased for as little as $1 at the Dollar Store or any low-cost art store.

Then, you place it in a pot of warm water for 10-15 minutes to soften.

Shine bright like a candle.

In the warm water, the candles will become pliable, and then it's time to flatten them with a rolling pin, or even a wine bottle.

After that, it's twisting time. Just remember not to twist the bottom so it can fit snuggly in your candle holder.

Make these candles your own.

The best part about making these is that you can customize them however you want.

Whether there's a special color scheme or something extra curvy about your twisted candle, these are great DIYs for any and all visions.

Or, if you don't feel like trying to twist your own candles, you can always purchase them through online retailers. The specific ones seen above are sold through the Suzumi Store.

Let's get twisted.

Now that we know how the process works, it's time to get our twisted candle collection going.

They work wonderfully for weddings, birthdays, baby showers and even just for your personal home decor pleasure.

Let us know in the comments what you think of these DIY twisted candles and if you plan to make some.
