Hello, Clarice! Anthony Hopkins Celebrates His 84th Birthday

Is there any more chilling line of dialogue in cinema than Hello, Clarice? Anthony Hopkins managed to single-handedly wipe the name Clarice off the map (I assume, anyway. Have you met a Clarice born in the last 30 years?) with his sinister yet oddly charming performance as Hannibal Lecter, and now he's celebrating perhaps an even bigger achievement — his 84th birthday!

Anthony Hopkins is Hollywood ROYALTY.

Anthony is best known for his creepy and fantastic Oscar-winning portrayal of serial killer Hannibal Lecter in The Silence Of The Lambs and the two follow-up films, has also appeared in The Remains Of The Day, The Two Popes, and Fracture, along with tons of other roles.

Anthony was born on December 31st, 1937.

That means that this year, Anthony is celebrating his 84th birthday!

Fans took to social media, where Anthony once also shared an inspiring video celebrating 45 years of sobriety, to wish the legend a happy birthday!

Happy birthday, Anthony!

In honor of Anthony's big day, tell us your favorite performance by the star! While I absolutely loved him in The Silence Of The Lambs, I think he was powerful and moving as Odin in The Avengers films, particularly Thor: Ragnarok.

Let us know yours in the comments!
