Jimmy Fallon Leaves $400 Tip At New York Restaurant

Not only is he known for being hilarious, but Jimmy Fallon is also for being more of the most cheery, and generous celebrities around. He just looks like someone you'd want to grab a beer with, isn't he? And maybe a big plate of fish and chips too, he seems like he wouldn't judge!

And hey, after he picks up the tab for the both of you (he is the rich celebrity after all), he'll probably leave a generous tip, because that's just the kind of guy he is!

It's been a trend amongst celebrities these days to leave generous tips when dining out. Why it's just a trend and not a full-blown *routine* practice I'll never know!

If I served a Hollywood hotshot and they only gave me a $20 tip you bet I would be telling everyone and their brother about it.

One of the more recent celebs to leave generous tips was Donnie Whalberg!

The actor left a $2,020 tip on a $35 bill after dining at Marshland Restaurant in Plymouth, Massachusetts, which is just outside his hometown of Boston!

The restaurant posted a picture of the receipt with the caption: "A very special thank you to our friend @donniewahlberg! When asked about it all he said was “who’s up next?!'"

Another celebrity to be generous with their gratuity was Tom Selleck, who was inspired by Donnie's challenge.

Donnie revealed Tom had recently followed his lead and left a HUGE $2,020 tip at a restaurant!

"I found out that my TV Dad #TomSelleck has generously accepted the #2020TipChallenge at Elios Upper East Side! Love ya dad," he tweeted.

Now, Jimmy Fallon is joining in on the trend by leaving a $400 tip at a New York Restaurant last week!

Page Six reports that Jimmy and his wife Nancy Juvonen had dinner at Kissaki in Water Mill this past weekend, where the comedian "left a $400 on his way out, to the waiter’s delight."

Not only was he generous with his wallet, he was generous with his time, posing for pictures with fans behind the restaurant's plexiglas. I'm not even sure if that's a picture I would want, but hey — it's Jimmy Fallon!

I think this is an awesome way to kick off the new year! Let's hope more celebrities follow in Jimmy's footsteps.
