I'm sure that employers have heard every excuse in the book for why someone was a late arrival.
A lot of those excuses end up being unbelievable, but sometimes the unbelievable is true. Sometimes, your dog really does eat your homework!

A lot of those excuses end up being unbelievable, but sometimes the unbelievable is true. Sometimes, your dog really does eat your homework!
Now, instead of pleading with your boss or teacher to please believe you, a Canada goose really did trap you behind a trash bin for twenty minutes after you walked too close to their nest, you can prove it.
Assuming the goose doesn't eat your phone in retaliation for the pic, of course.
If you live in Washington State, of course.
I'm not sure I could get away with the sea lion story in my area. (The goose story would check out, though.)
According to officials, the animal was probably confused after heavy rainfall caused some flooding in the area.
Wildlife officers were called in, and by then the sea lion was chilling in a cow pasture about 70 yards away from Grays River. They managed to coax it most of the way back to the shore, but discovered it right back in the pasture the next day.
The second attempt was more successful and they watched the sea lion enter the river and swim away. Now there's just the pics to prove it was there at all.
