Armie Hammer Speaks Out After Controversial Alleged DMs Leak

Hammer also appeared in The Social Network, The Lone Ranger, and The Man From U.N.C.L.E.
Hammer was previously married to Elizabeth Chambers from 2010 to July 2020, and the two share two children together.
Recently, Hammer has been a hot topic on social media after an alleged DM leak.
Hammer has now spoken out after leaked screenshots of alleged NSFW DMs discussing cannibalism between himself and another woman went viral on social media. Due to the sensitive and violent nature of these DMs, Diply will be not be sharing the screenshots.
These DMs were reported to have been sent while Hammer and his ex-wife were still married.
Hammer has now spoken out about the DMs, while announcing he was dropping out of a new film, *Shotgun Wedding*, opposite Jennifer Lopez.
"I’m not responding to these bullshit claims but in light of the vicious and spurious online attacks against me, I cannot in good conscience now leave my children for four months to shoot a film in the Dominican Republic," Armie said in a statement.
"Lionsgate is supporting me in this and I’m grateful to them for that."
A spokesperson for the film's production also said, "Given the imminent start date of Shotgun Wedding, Armie has requested to step away from the film and we support him in his decision."
