Macaulay Culkin Supports Cutting Donald Trump From 'Home Alone 2'

As you may have heard, there's a petition gaining traction online to cut out twice-impeached President Donald Trump from the Home Alone sequel, Home Alone 2: Lost In New York.

As it turns out, Macaulay Culkin is all for the idea, and let fans know on Twitter that he had no apprehensions about it.

I'm a firm believer that *Home Alone 2* is better than the original movie.

New York City is the perfect backdrop for a Christmas movie, is it not? Plus the second film has the Pigeon Lady — my favorite character!

Because of her, I can't look at turtledoves without crying.

Unfortunately for many *Home Alone* fans, the second film also contains a cameo from Donald Trump.

The 1992 film shows Kevin McAllister briefly talking to Trump in the Plaza hotel lobby.

Now, fans are petitioning for 20th Century Fox to remove him from the film completely, and who better to endorse the edit than Macaulay Culkin himself?!

Now, Macaulay isn't a man of many words, but when he does speak, it's amazing.

Talking to fans on Twitter, the 40-year-old said he was "sold" on the idea of replacing Trump with a modern-day version of himself.

But wait, it gets better!

When someone sent him the clip from the film with Trump completely edited out, he said "Bravo."

That's the kind of energy we need in 2021.
