Betty White Says She Would Be A Zookeeper If She Hadn't Chosen Acting

Betty White really just keeps getting better and better every time I learn something new about her.

Not only is she a talented actress, hilarious, sweet, and a world record holder, but she's also a huge animal lover, and has just revealed what her dream job would be if she weren't one of the best actresses of our generation!

Betty White is many things.

But maybe most of all (especially if you ask her!), she's an animal lover! She's dedicated a lot of her life to animal welfare and ecological activism, so it makes sense that she once said if she weren't an actress, she'd be working with animals!

When Betty was asked what she'd be doing if she weren't acting, her answer was short and sweet!

"Hands down, a zookeeper," she replied.

"To me, there isn’t an animal on the planet that I don’t find fascinating and want to learn more about," Betty told The Smithsonian about her love for animals.

Betty's even been made an honorary forest ranger!

"A couple of years ago, the Forest Service made me an honorary forest ranger. Back when I started, girls couldn’t be forest rangers. But now they made me an honorary one, made it very official, and I was deeply honored," she said.

"I have been such a zoo nut all my life that I am practically a zookeeper!" she went on.

Now, I don't know about you, but there isn't any amount of money that I wouldn't pay to go to a zoo and have Betty White be the one showing me around and taking care of all the animals!
