Jessica Simpson Says She Has Fewer Wrinkles At 40 Than She Did At 38

During the pandemic, it's important to find a hobby. A lot of people went with breadmaking, baking, or cooking. Some people took up a craft like crochet, embroidery, or knitting. Jessica Simpson, however, went a very smart route that has really paid off for her by using the pandemic free time to invest in something very important: her skin!

Jessica Simpson is pretty much an inspiration on every front.

The singer, actress, and business empire owner is not only an inspiration when it comes to her dedication to her physical health, but also when it comes to her honesty and vulnerability too.

On top of THAT, she's now our skincare goals too!

Jessica is 40 years old, but you'd never know that just by looking at her.

Or by looking at her wardrobe!

Back in the 2000s, there was nobody who rocked a skinny jean or a low-cut jean quite like Jessica did. She was the queen of denim, if you ask me, especially with her famous Daisy Dukes!

She's definitely still jean royalty, as her post on her 40th birthday proves.

Jessica shared a mirror shot of herself rocking some True Religion jeans (is that name ringing any bells for anyone?!) and wrote, "I have kept these throwback True Religion jeans in my closet for 14 yrs (I’m not exaggerating!)"

She still fit into them!

"I figured that since I’m in the final hours of my 30’s I’d give them another try, and hello 40, so nice to meet you," she wrote.

Honestly, I barely fit into my jeans from six months ago, so props to Jessica for that!

Of course, it's not just her wardrobe that makes her so youthful — it's also her skin!

"During this pandemic, I've gone down a skin care rabbit hole," Jessica revealed in a new interview.

"I'm obsessed with doing red light therapy treatments at home. I place the anti-inflammatory device everywhere on my body, including my scalp, stomach and boobs," she told Shape.

"I have fewer wrinkles at 40 than I did at 38!" she revealed.

The treatment also helps with her eczema.

"I've dealt with eczema since I was a kid. But after having Birdie, I had such bad flare-ups that I wouldn't even show the pictures of me holding her to my friends," she said.

As someone who deals with eczema too, I'm definitely taking notes on this one.

Jessica opened up about her experience with eczema in an Instagram post too.

"Growing up, my nana taught me the importance of caring for my skin. Because I have eczema, it’s really important for me, especially during sweater weather," she wrote in a post discussing the medication she uses as treatment, Eucrisa.

Jessica was honest about what she deals with.

"The cold, dry air and certain fabrics can be tough on my skin, so I like to moisturize regularly. But sometimes, eczema flares still happen," she said.

Fans in the comments were quick to point out just how amazing Jessica's skin looks!

"Why's this picture look like it came from 2004?!" one fan commented.

"You literally look the same as you did 20 years ago! Beautiful," one fan gushed in the comments.

"You haven't aged a day in years, girl!" another wrote.

We couldn't agree more!

One thing is for sure: Jessica looks AMAZING.

Her skin is obviously glowing, so whatever she's doing definitely works for her! I think Jessica might have smoother skin than I did at half her age.
