Robert De Niro's controversial comments about Donald Trump are coming back to bite him.
The actor has been accused of rousing the violence ahead of the Jan. 6 Capitol insurrection.
He's not alone, either — Madonna and Kathy Giffin were also blamed for their involvement in bashing Trump in the past.

The Taxi Driver actor has been one of the more outspoken anti-Trump critics ever since Donald ran for president in 2016.
“What he’s been saying is really totally crazy, ridiculous … he is totally nuts,” he said to an audience in Sarajevo at the time.
The actor hasn't minced any words since then. In a video urging people to vote in the 2016 election, De Niro said that he would like to punch Trump in the face.
To De Niro's horror, Trump was elected as President that year.
Not long after De Niro said "[Expletive] Trump" while accepting an award at the Tony Awards, the president responded on Twitter, calling De Niro "brain-damaged."
He called him a "a very Low IQ individual" who "has received too many shots to the head by real boxers in movies."
This time, he, along with several other A-list celebrities, have been accused of rousing the violence that took place at the Capitol insurrection on January 6.
This tragically led to the deaths of five people, including Capitol Police officer Brian Sicknick.
This historically marks the second impeachment for Trump.
The conservative politician has been working with other politicians to stop House Speaker Nancy Pelosi from impeaching Trump for the second time.
"Robert De Niro said he wanted to punch the president in the face," he continued.
"Madonna thought about blowing up the White House." This was in reference to the singer's reaction to Trump taking office in 2017.
While she later clarified her comments, saying that she was "wildly taken out of context," the impact of her words remained.
This was in response to the controversial 2017 photoshoot Griffin took part in where she held up a decapitated head of Trump.
She was been investigated by the Secret Service.
Despite her apologies, she resurfaced the photo after Trump falsely claimed that he was winning the November 2020 election.
Not surprisingly, she did so with her signature humor: "My only take away... 'Kathy Griffin AND MADONNA,'" she tweeted.
To this, she added footage of Buck flubbing her name in his speech. "Kathy LEE Griffin, reporting for duty."
Given De Niro's track record of being outspoken about Trump, though, we will probably hear from him soon.
