I am honestly obsessed with Dolly Parton! I listen to her music, I watch her interviews, I talk about her in my sleep, and it's all that I can do to keep from crying... about how much I love her.
Can you blame me? Dolly has been one of the best celebrities (or maybe even people) on the planet for years, and today she's celebrating a huge milestone of a birthday!
Not only does her musical career blow practically everyone else's out of the water (hello, "Jolene"? "9 to 5"? "I Will Always Love You"?!), she's also had an incredibly positive impact on the world outside of music.
Her Imagination Library has helped hundreds of thousands of children access books to help improve literacy, and her foundation helped fund the COVID vaccine!
That means that today she's celebrating her 75th birthday!
It doesn't seem possible for Dolly to be 75 with her ageless music and youthful energy, but it's true! Dolly has been changing the world one wig at a time for almost a century!
Fans are celebrating Dolly on social media, as they very rightly should be!
In honor of this absolute queen's birthday, I'm going to be doing nothing but blasting my Dolly Parton records as I walk around the house in too much makeup and a sparkly dress, which is just what I hope Dolly is doing too!
