Quotes For When You Know Exactly How To Solve All Your Problems

Man, could I ever use a winning lottery ticket right now.

Not even a Powerball-sized win is required. I'd be good with a couple hundred thousand dollars.

You see, I'm not looking to be one of those rich people who doesn't work anymore; I just have some stuff that some cash would make a whole lot easier.

So what would I do with a sudden windfall?

I'd pay off my debts first. I'm lucky to have already dealt with school loans and such, but bye-bye credit card balances!

I'd pay professionals to come and clean the interior and exterior of my house top to bottom, and a landscaper to deal with the state of my yard.

My little old house is my pride and joy, but it needs some love too.

The foundation would be given the full treatment to bring it back to full strength, the last of the ancient windows would be replaced, the warped plaster walls would be repaired, and the old siding would get a fresh coat of paint.

It would be lovely.

The kitchen would get a proper remodel instead of the DIY stop-gap I have planned currently.

I'd still DIY a lot of things around the house — it is one of my favorite hobbies — but being able to pick my battles and leave the really hard (and just plain annoying) stuff to the professionals would be bliss.

Depending on the size of the cash prize, I'd then look at paying down the mortgage and putting more money into my retirement account.

So what would you do with a sudden windfall?
