Let it be known that we as humans simply do not deserve dogs. They are just too good for this world, and they're certainly too good for us.

Case in point, this story about an unbelievably good dog in Turkey who not only followed her ill owner to the hospital, but then patiently waited there for the next six days until he was well enough to go home.

On January 14, Cemal Senturk was taken to a local hospital by an ambulance with his beloved dog, Boncuk, in hot pursuit.

According to DHA, a Turkish news agency, Senturk's family eventually brought Boncuk home with them while he was being treated, but this devoted pup wasn't keen on simply waiting for her human somewhere else.

In fact, she was so determined to be close to him that she showed up at that very hospital every day for nearly a week to wait outside for him.

A security guard at the hospital reported that the dog would arrive at 9 AM and wait outside until nightfall.

She never caused any problems, and never once actually went inside the building. All Boncuk did was wait.

"When the door opens she pokes her head inside," the guard, Muhammet Akdeniz, told the Associated Press.

Once they noticed the loyal dog returning every single day, hospital staff made sure to take care of her as best as they could.

As DHA reported, workers would often come out and feed the dog, since she was spending just about the entire day sitting outside of the hospital without any food or water.

After six long days of waiting, Boncuk was finally reunited with her owner in a heartwarming moment that was thankfully all caught on camera.

In the YouTube video posted by DHS, the pup can't contain her excitement as Senturk is brought out of the hospital in a wheelchair. With her tail wagging, she keeps close by her human's side, trying to get all the pets she'd sorely been missing out on during their time apart.

“She’s very used to me," Senturk told the agency of their close bond. "And I miss her, too, constantly."
