There's hardly any villain in the Disney classic catalogue more intimidating and nasty than Cruella De Vil. Not only is her style and look immediately recognizable and intimidating, but her villainous plot (killing puppies) is absolutely HORRIBLE! This makes her a villain everyone loves to hate, so it shouldn't have come as a surprise when Disney announced they would be giving Cruella the Maleficent treatment with her own origin story film!
