Who here is a huge foodie? Raise your hand. I definitely am, too. In fact, I'm always working on some culinary creation, and I love to follow fellow foodies.
That's why I was so thrilled when I stumbled upon this one TikTok account that's all about food. And when you see what this TikTok user made recently, you're going to be impressed, too.
He's got nearly 780,000 followers. Wow, that's pretty incredible, huh? He's been showing people his recipes since 2019. However, in 2020 when the UK went into lockdown, that's when his TikTok really took off.
His one video, in particular, skyrocketed him into TikTok stardom. In that video, he wanted to recreate one of the popular emojis — the birthday cake emoji. Why? Let's find out.
The cake has real candles on it like the ones you put on a table and not a cake. So, as a joke, he recreated it from scratch as a real cake.
He thought it was funny that nobody at Apple questioned it. Everybody thought his real cake looked bang-on. In fact, people started requesting that he try his hand at other emojis as well.
What do you think? So as you might have guessed, Ash happily obliged. He started making other cool emojis as real food examples. His second attempt was the cupcake emoji, which I think he nailed, too.
Ah, he had me at donuts. I've been missing those in my diet, ha, ha! These little guys look good enough to eat. Oh, wait! They are edible, ha, ha!
Ash has commented numerous times that they weren't as simple as he first thought. A lot of detail went into making these so they look just like the emojis themselves.
He actually spent three days perfecting it. Oh, my, is that not dedication or what? I think it looks pretty darn good. I want to eat it right about now, hee, hee.
Is there a food emoji you would like him to recreate? I think the puff pastry might present a challenge for him. I'd like to see Ash try that next.
