This Student Was Kicked Out Of A Mall For Wearing A 'Finding Dory' Tank Top

Picture this: You go to the mall in your Finding Dory tank top in sweltering hot summer temps minding your own dang business and the next second you're being escorted out of the mall by security.

Yup, this totally happened to Grand Valley State University student Hannah Pewee at the Woodland Mall near Grand Rapids, Michigan.

Well, Hannah wasn't about to just let it go either. She decided to post a strong message on Facebook that everyone should read.

Stay strong, Hannah. Stay strong.
Update: Woodland Mall responds (see end).

Meet Hannah Pewee, a university student who is making some major waves after the most bizarre incident happened to her at a local Michigan mall.

The Facebook post she made describing her story has already amassed thousands of reactions.

In her post, Hannah describes the intense summer weather going down in West Michigan before going to the Woodland Mall.

"As many of you know, it is NINETY degrees outside today in West Michigan. Aka, really hot. So, of course, I decided to dress for the weather: shorts and a tank top," wrote Hannah.

Nothing out of the ordinary, right? It's hot as hell outside, so you give your arms and shoulders a breather.

Hell, I've seen guys go shirtless at the mall, just sayin'.

After walking into the mall, minding her own business, someone decided to complain to mall security about her.

"Apparently some anonymous person reported me to MALL SECURITY for inappropriate dress..." described Hannah.

"I was out having a fun time with my sister and next thing I know, I'm out on the street."

You're going to flip when you see what she was wearing.

Yes, this is the shirt she was wearing in the mall.

When I first saw this picture I was totally confused. Were they mad somehow about what the shirt says? Not possible.

Confused? Many people are wondering how this outfit warranted being kicked out of the building.

Hannah also noted that there were several girls around her dressed almost the exact same way.

Hundreds of people have commented on Hannah's post coming to her support.

I think most reasonable people will immediately realize that there is absolutely nothing wrong with her Disney shirt!

Some people think that whoever reported Hannah to the security guards may have just been super jealous.

Hannah's cousin was mad, just like so many others.

Victoria Mulbah was obviously appalled and stated that she would be contacting local news and potentially lawyers to hold people accountable for this.

Hannah thinks she was being shamed.

"But apparently, how I was dressed (see photo below) was too slutty for the public..." she wrote.

She didn't stop there.

"Slut-shaming how girls are dressed is deplorable and outdated, and it needs to stop," she added.

Understandably, Hannah was emotionally distraught as a result of the incident.

"I am so angry right now I'm shaking. I felt so embarrassed I almost cried. All because a stranger didn't like how I dressed."

The response to Hannah's strong statement has people wanting to take action. Supporters have pledged to contact their local news agencies about the incident. Some people have even proposed a Woodland Mall boycott.

"It's my body, and it's hot outside! I'm not going to show up in jeans and a sweater, sorry. Don't like it? Look away!"

Couldn't have said it any better myself.

Woodland Mall even responded recently to the buzz surrounding what happened on their property.

They issued a full apology claiming that they "dropped the ball on this one."

What do you think about what happened to Hannah?
