Mom Shares Hilarious Photo Of A Toddler Shirt She Ordered From A Chinese Website

Online shopping can be such a gamble. Half the time I order something online, it doesn't fit or looks nothing like the product that was advertised.

Unfortunately, that's exactly what happened to one mom when she thought she ordered a cute and innocent shirt for her toddler.

What arrived instead contained a rude and unexpected message. Thankfully, this mom had a great sense of humor about it.

There are definitely risks we take when ordering clothes online.

It usually has to do with proper sizing, rather than the design of the shirt.

But one family received a hilarious surprise in the mail when they received their order.

Kelsey Dawn Williamson is a mom from Illinois with a three-year-old daughter named Salem.

Like a lot of moms, Kelsey shops online for her daughter's clothes, but her latest purchase was definitely not what she expected.

She ordered this cute shirt from AliExpress, a Chinese-based website similar to Etsy.

AliExpress

The shirt featured artwork from the classic children's book Frog and Toad. I'm not even a kid and I want this shirt! It's easy to see why Kelsey ordered it.

However, the website image left out one very important detail.

The shirt arrived with the advertised design but featured text saying, "F--- The Police" in block letters that hadn't been shown online.

Shocked, but also finding this design flaw hilarious, Kelsey shared the images of Salem wearing the shirt on Facebook.

"What I ordered VS what I received," she said in her post which included a screenshot from AliExpress of the advertised product.

The origins of this t-shirt graphic actually come from none other than Reddit, of course.

Know Your Meme

The meme was made famous about 8 years ago and quickly spread.

The Frog and Toad duo have become Internet memes, in general, like the one above.

Surprisingly, the graphic on the shirt and the famous N.W.A. lyric actually work well together.

The Frog and Toad could be making a run for it on their tandem bike for all we know.

This isn't the first time AliExpress has had a design fail.

One person posted a picture of this "Abidas" tracksuit online with the hashtag #AliExpressFails. Is it time to tell AliExpress vendors to start using spellcheck?

Since Kelsey shared photos of this online shopping fail, her post has received hundreds of comments and thousands of shares.

Most people said they would have taken a picture just like Kelsey did. This moment is too funny to not capture it with a picture.

Others wondered where Kelsey ordered it from.

They probably want this shirt for themselves. I wonder if Kelsey's shirt was a one-off or if they all feature the extra text.

I wouldn't be surprised if hip retail stores like Urban Outfitters made a shirt like this for adults.

So many people are interested in purchasing one themselves!

Of course, it didn't take mom-shamers long before chiming in about the string of photos.

Kelsey made edits to her original post addressing the nasty comments.

"SALEM IS 3 AND CAN’T READ. I DID NOT BUY THIS. THIS IS WHAT I WAS SENT. NO, SHE WONT WEAR IT IN PUBLIC. “Why would you take a picture??” YOU WOULD TOO, DONT BE A LIAR," she wrote.

Some commenters even took this as an opportunity to focus on her daughter's weight.

"SHE SEES SPECIALISTS FOR HER WEIGHT. SHE CANT HELP IT. I CANT HELP IT. MY HUSBAND CANT HELP IT. IT IS OUT OF OUR CONTROL. JUST LAUGH AT THE FUNNY SHIRT."

Thankfully, many came to Kelsey's defense and just absolutely loved the hilarity of the shirt.

People are loving this hilarious fail.
