Pampers Is Teaming Up With Frustrated Dads To Add 5,000 Change Tables To Men's Washrooms

It's actually pretty shocking that many men's washrooms in this day and age still don't have a proper change table fathers to change their babies' diapers.

What are dads dealing with a full diaper supposed to do?

Pampers and musician John Legend want to end this situation once and for all. They're working with frustrated dads to get change tables installed for men across the country.

For many fathers, finding a suitable place to change your child's diaper is a still a struggle.

Donte Palmer shared this photo of himself changing his son's diaper in a public washroom on his lap since there was no change table in the men's room.

His photo went viral and brought much-needed attention to this issue.

Now, musician John Legend will join Donte and his foundation, Squat For Change, along with Pampers to install 5,000 changing tables in men's washrooms.

Besides being a multi-award winning performer, John has two children: three-year-old Luna and one-year-old Miles, so it's safe to say he changes a lot of diapers.

Like many dads, John has also found himself without a place to change his children's diapers.

"It's been eye-opening to include dads in this conversation around diapers and parenting; it's a big moment in our culture," he said in an interview with Parents.com.

The news comes just in time for Father's Day, too.

What better way to acknowledge all the hard work dads do than by giving them the tools they need to take care of their children.

The change tables are expected to be installed across the U.S. and Canada by 2021.
