President Trump has responded this morning to Iran's airstrike on a US drone late Wednesday night.
Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders spoke to the press about the incident a few hours earlier, saying that Trump has "been kept up to date and briefed last night and again this morning."
In a statement, U.S. Central Command called the downing of the US drone an "unprovoked attack", while Iran’s Revolutionary Guard claims that the drone was shot down while over Iranian airspace.
Though it is clear that the US government's already rocky relationship with Iran has hit a breaking point.
The White House has yet to release a formal statement following Trump's tweet.
