Cameron Boyce's Father Breaks Silence With Touching Tweet After His Son's Death

On July 6th, the world was shocked and devastated to learn that actor Cameron Boyce had passed away at only 20 years old. While his passing was confirmed by a statement from the family, Cameron's father Victor has just made a personal statement on his own Twitter account.

Cameron was known for his work with Disney.

He starred on the show Jessie from 2011 until 2015, and has also played Carlos De Vil in the Descendants films. He'd made many appearances on shows like Liv and Maddie, Good Luck Charlie, and Shake It Up.

He had also gained recognition for his work on "Grown Ups" and "Grown Ups 2."

Cameron played Keithie Feder, one of Adam Sandler's children, in these movies, where he was praised for his comedic skills.

Cameron's passing was confirmed by a statement from the family.

"It is with a profoundly heavy heart that we report that this morning we lost Cameron," a spokesperson for the family told CNN. "He passed away in his sleep due to a seizure which was a result of an ongoing medical condition for which he was being treated."

The family said, "The world is now undoubtedly without one of its brightest lights."

"But his spirit will live on through the kindness and compassion of all who knew and loved him. We are utterly heartbroken and ask for privacy during this immensely difficult time as we grieve the loss of our precious son and brother," read the statement.

The love and support for Cameron and his family has been incredible.

Adam Sandler, who played Cameron's father in the Grown Ups films, shared this photo of Cameron with the caption, "Too young. Too sweet. Too funny. Just the nicest, most talented, and most decent kid around. Loved that kid. Cared so much about his family. Cared so much about the world."

His words were incredibly emotional.

"Thank you, Cameron, for all you gave to us. So much more was on the way. All our hearts are broken. Thinking of your amazing family and sending our deepest condolences," Sandler's statement ended.

'Jessie' star Debby Ryan shared a video of Cameron on her Instagram story.

The video was taken during Cameron's acceptance speech at the 2018 Thirst Gala for the Pioneering Spirit Award. In the clip, Cameron says, "It’s crazy, we can tweet whenever we want and we can use social media and Instagram and make the world a better place."

Cameron's father, Victor Boyce, has now made a tweet on his personal account.

His tweet read, "I'm overwhelmed with the love and support our family has received. It really doe help to ease the pain of this nightmare I can't wake up from. I can't thank you guys enough."

Charles Esten, who played Cameron's father on 'Jessie', also shared his thoughts.

Esten shared that Cameron had attended elementary school with his children, and that he was always kind, humble, graceful, and had a fantastic sense of humor.

Esten highlighted how close the cast of 'Jessie' was.

Esten shared that the cast was as close as real siblings would be, and still are, and that they were in his thoughts during this time.
