Now we're 2016-2017, this is probably one of the trippiest movies in the franchise.

Not only was this the first-ever Marvel movie to feature a black superhero at the helm, but it was the first one to be nominated for an Academy Award.

Now, superhero movies are being taken a little more seriously.
