This power couple may be all about the lavish lifestyle, but that doesn't they don't want their kids growing up grounded.

In an interview with "Allure", Kim said, "[Kanye and I] talk about it all the time, about not getting too much and trying to be as grounded and well rounded as possible.”

The Paris robbery Kim endured in 2016 also led her and Kayne to no longer exchange gifts.

Instead, they choose to spend quality time together on special occasions.

They're doing parenting right.

But does treatin' yo self still count?

'Cus if anyone is good at treating themselves to lavish things, it's definitely Kim and Kayne.

This Hollywood couple may have sounded like the Grinch when they announced they weren't giving their kids any Christmas gifts.

But they had a good reason.

They didn't want their kids growing up to be spoiled, a problem that some celebrity parents face when they give their kids everything and anything.

In a radio interview with "The Kyle and Jackie O Show", Mila said that she even wants her children to think they're poor.

Definitely unconventional, but also genius at the same time.

"You are very poor, you have nothing."

"Mommy and Daddy have a bank account," she said

They've even had to beg their parents to get on board with their new traditions.

"We'd like to take a charitable donation, to the Children's Hospital or a pet [or] whatever you want. That's our new tradition.”

The reason behind this is because she's tired of overdoing Christmas.

“We just stopped because there’s so much happening in the world where people don’t have anything," she shared.

"And we said, ‘Why don’t we just make this about other people?’ And they were amazing about it.”

Talk about a great way to teach her kids about giving back!

Sandra Bullock

Okay, so Sandra Bullock does give her kids gifts for Christmas, but her rule is only three.

Dr. Phil knows a thing or two about parenting.

On his show, he said, "Instead of tangible gifts, how about spending some time together?"

He added: "be careful that you aren’t teaching them that emotions can be healed by a trip to the mall."

Uh oh. Say goodbye to retail therapy, kiddos!

While the reality star gives her kids Christmas presents, what ends up going into their stockings is entirely up to their behavior.

"Growing up, the elves would come every day before Christmas," she reminisced.

"And if you were good, they’d leave a little something in your stocking, and if you were bad, you got coal," she told Us Weekly.

For this former couple, not spoiling their kids has paid off.

It's a parenting hack that can pay off for any parent, celeb or not.

"As a result, my kids don’t want for very much. They’re not greedy. They’re wonderful, wonderful children," McGregor told Express.

David and Victoria Beckham

They may both be super-rich, but these famous parents aren't spoiling their kids anytime soon.

"We treat them now and then but they’re not the kind of kids who have everything they want when they want."

"I wouldn’t do that. It’s just not good for them," Victoria said.

Chip and Johanna Gaines

This HGTV couple decided that letting Christmas presents for four kids go unused wasn't "healthy."

Instead, they teach their kids to give back by letting them pick out gifts for kids in the neighborhood.

"I started to think about how we could impact our kids’ lives in a real big-picture sort of way," Chip wrote in Johanna's magazine, The Magnolia Journal.
