Parents Stuck Without Heat And Water Are Bathing Their Kids In Crawfish Pots

From the east coast to the west coast, it seems everyone was getting hit with some white flakes. However, some places were a bit more prepared than others.
In particular, Texas got annihilated by some frigid temps and snow due to a massive storm.
Texas is not used to having such low temperatures, or that much snow, at all. The state was nowhere near prepared for this kind of disaster.
Many people began losing power and heat.
On top of that, pipes in homes began to burst, ceilings were caving in, and many places were completely shut down due to the weather.
With no hot water and heat, many families had to make due with what they had.

Some people decided the best way to give their kids a bath was... well, in a crawfish pot!
Crawfish pots happen to be huge.
Some of them range from 30-60 quarts, easily capable of holding an entire child in there — you know, just for a bath!
One Twitter user shared a photo of her niece in the pot.
Twitter user Danielle said that her sister used their crawfish pot to melt snow, warm the water up, and bathe their kids.
As it turns out, other parents had the same idea.
Others who were experiencing loss of electricity and hot water began using their crawfish pots, too, as they were big enough to bathe kids in.
All they did was use the snow from outside.
Combining the melted snow with some soap made for a quick and easy way to rinse off and keep clean during these horrible times.
Some even used it to melt snow for other reasons.
While some used it to bathe their kids, others used it to "melt snow for toilet water," as they no longer had running water in their house.
How genius is this?!?
