Madonna Has Been Called Out For Photoshopping Herself Onto Someone Else's Body

We've seen celebrities do some bizarre things over the years: Kesha saying she once slept with a ghost, Katy Perry collecting hair, and honestly anything Britney Spears has been up to lately.

But this latest bizarre act by Madonna just might take the cake. The singer was recently accused of photoshopping herself onto someone else's body.

Why, you ask? Well, keep reading to find out.

We've seen some pretty bad celeb photoshop fails over the years.

Like this time Lindsay Lohan added some junk to her trunk with this poorly-done photoshop.

It's so bad, it's almost like she's trolling us. Just look at that wall by her butt!

Or when Kris Jenner tried (and failed) to fool us all with this smoothed-out picture of her and Gordon Ramsay.

She maybe would have gotten away for it had it not been for the famous chef who posted one of the original pictures on his social media!

The awkwardness... we can't.

Celebs have also been called out for stealing ideas from fans.

Back in 2016, Kylie Jenner was accused of stealing a metallic lip look from makeup artist, Vlada Haggerty.

The makeup artist posted a side-by-side picture to prove the similarities between her photo and the one used by Kylie to promote Kylie Cosmetics.

Big sister Khloé Kardashian also found herself in hot water when she was accused of ripping off another designer's designs for her Good American label.

Designer Destiney Bleu showed receipts of Khloé purchasing her bedazzled bodysuits, jerseys, and intimates in order to copy them. Despite the damming evidence, Khloé denied the claims.

Now, here's a riddle for you.

What do you get when you put these two things together: a photoshop fail and stealing work without crediting somebody?

Answer: this next fail from Madonna! The 62-year-old recently came under fire for a major fail she did six years ago while trying to promote her "Rebel Heart" album.

No one knew it then, but she photoshopped her face onto someone else's body.

That "someone else" is TikTok user, @ameliagoldie, who recently recounted the bizarre story.

"When Madonna posts a photo of herself to IG to promote her album but it's actually your body (I'm not joking)," she wrote.

Given how insane the story is, Amelia's TikTok went viral (it now has over two million views).

In a follow-up post, she shared a comment from one of her followers who actually scrolled all the way back to 2015 on Madonna's Instagram and found the picture!

Get ready to feast your eyes on this.

"I look Kewl.........❤️#rebelheart," the "Like a Virgin" singer captioned the stolen picture.

You mean Amelia looks cool.

Ever since Madonna was called out, many people have been taking to the singer's post to air out their grievances. "Horrible photoshop and you’re a horrible thief!!!!" one wrote.

Another questioned how no one realized it was fake when it was first posted.

2015 was a different time, we guess.

"That’s probably the photoshop level I had when I was 11," wrote this user. "How is this even still up? You stole someone’s photograph," added another.

Amelia recently spoke to Buzzfeed, telling them that she initially "thought it was a joke" when she saw Madonna's head on her body.

"Then [I] realized it wasn’t because it was [posted on] her official account," she said.

While she tried to reach out twice via Instagram to the singer's team, she received no response.

If she were to ever hear back from the singer, she said that she would have a good attitude about it.

"I [would] definitely laugh and say I'm flattered, but of course that I wish I was credited!" At the end of the day, though, there are "no hard feelings."

So far, Madonna has yet to comment on the situation.

What do you think of Madonna using someone else's body to promote her album?
