Bindi Irwin and her husband Chandler Powell have just announced their family has grown! The happy couple have revealed on Instagram the birth of their new baby girl in a touching post.
Crikey! Bindi Irwin And Chandler Powell Welcome Their First Baby
There is no famous family that I love more than the Irwins.
Bindi, Robert, Terri, and Bindi's husband Chandler Powell have dedicated their lives to continuing Steve Irwin's legacy of animal conservation and education, and they've done so while remaining positive and kind to each other and everyone else!
Steve would definitely be proud.
In August of last year, Bindi and Chandler announced they were expecting their first child.
It's safe to say a lot of people got emotional at the news, given that we've practically watched Bindi grow up before our very eyes!
Bindi just announced the birth of her first child, a daughter, in an emotional Instagram post.
"March 25, 2021. Celebrating the two loves of my life. Happy first wedding anniversary to my sweetheart husband and day of birth to our beautiful daughter," she shared alongside a photo of herself, her husband, and their new baby.
Bindi revealed her baby's name — Grace Warrior Irwin Powell.
"Our graceful warrior is the most beautiful light. Grace is named after my great-grandmother, and relatives in Chandler’s family dating back to the 1700s. Her middle names, Warrior Irwin, are a tribute to my dad and his legacy as the most incredible Wildlife Warrior," she continued.
"Her last name is Powell and she already has such a kind soul just like her dad."
"There are no words to describe the infinite amount of love in our hearts for our sweet baby girl. She chose the perfect day to be born and we feel tremendously blessed," Bindi finished.
Chandler echoed the sentiments on his own Instagram feed.
"Grace Warrior Irwin Powell. After waiting for you to arrive for the last 9 months, finally meeting you has been the best moment of my life," he shared alongside the same photos that Bindi shared, but including one close up shot of their darling daughter.
Chandler continued.
"You have a big life ahead of you and no matter what, you will be surrounded by a whole lot of love. Thank you for gracing your beautiful mother and me on our wedding anniversary, so excited to have you home," he finished.
New uncle Robert Irwin has also shared his thoughts.
"Let the uncle adventures begin! Love you so much, Grace," Robert shared with a photo of himself with his new niece. "This little one picked the two best parents in the entire world."
Robert shared his praises for the new parents.
"The most incredible, caring and strong Mum... and the funnest, coolest and kindest Dad," Robert described them.
The way that this family all loves each other and aren't afraid to express it is SO heartwarming!
Robert's post finished on a message of love.
"Love you three so much - I can’t wait for this exciting journey ahead!" he wrote.
Bindi left a sweet comment on Robert's post, saying, "Thank you for being the greatest brother. Grace loves you so much! We all do."
We couldn't be happier for the couple!
We're wishing Bindi, Chandler, and baby Grace the happiest anniversary and birthday possible, and we can't wait to see them become the amazing parents we know they're going to be!
