DIYers Are Upcycling Old Ceiling Fans Into Unique Garden Decor

Last week I showed you how to make a raised bed garden. Wasn't that a fun project or what? I can't wait to get started on mine when the weather allows it.

But I also want to add some nice decorative accents around it. So, I found this cool way to upcycle an old ceiling fan into the prettiest garden decor.

What kind of decor do you have in your garden?

Have you come up with something unique? I'm looking for ways to pretty up the area once I start planting. So I was thrilled when I stumbled upon this fun little art project.

Did you know folks are upcycling old ceiling fans into pretty wind spinners?

I had no idea this was even a thing, ha, ha! But now that I see it, I totally get the appeal. How nice does that look, huh?

It is such a simple and creative project you can do.

All you need is to paint an old ceiling fan in a vibrant design. Then you attach it to a wood post and put it in your garden as a big, beautiful wind spinner!

One person even added a gorgeous mosaic to this one.

Wow, that is so stunning. I would love to have something as beautiful as this in my garden. In fact, I have an old ceiling fan I'm not using. Now, I have to turn it into this.

Other people are turning their ceiling fans into dragonflies.

Oh my goodness, isn't this the cutest thing ever? We have a wooden fence at the back of our backyard that definitely needs beautification. So this dragonfly would be absolutely perfect for it.

Here are a few super cute dragonflies that look almost vintage.

I bet they're going to add that special accent to any garden wall, huh? I'm totally obsessed with this idea now. Where can I get some used ceiling fans for cheap?

Fancy yourself that old, barn-chic look?

Then why not do something as awesome as this? I'm really digging this cool dragonfly here. It would make for a great decor piece for a barn-style wedding, too. What do you think?

You can also use the ceiling fan blades to make fun signs like these.

Then, you can put them up around your backyard or even at the entryway of your house to welcome your guests. Isn't that such a great concept or what?

Truth be told, I had no idea you can do so many creative things with an old ceiling fan.

What about you? Have you heard of this? Perhaps you already have done a project like this around your house? Let me know in the comments below.
