Quotes About Getting Older That Have Us Dreaming Of Time Machines

Caitlyn Clancey

Let's not beat around the bush here: getting older sucks.

You know what sucks even more? The fact that it is just totally inevitable. I mean, you can certainly do your best to slow down the process, whether by keeping your body in peak physical condition or by throwing some money at a surgeon to at least keep up the façade of youth. But at one point or another, we all get old.

And when that happens, we can't help but dream about owning our own time machines. Forget taking a trip to the beach, I'm going back to my twenties.

If you're also feeling this kind of way, I think you're really going to enjoy these quotes.

4. Turns out I'm not cool anymore.

We can argue back and forth all day about whether we need to listen to the new generation when they tell us what to wear and what not to wear, but one fact remains: we're old, they're young, and we can't change that any more that we can force our side parts to be middle parts again.
