Regé-Jean Page Responds To Speculation That He Could Be The Next James Bond

There are very few iconic roles in the world that get passed down from actor to actor, and most of them (like Batman, The Joker, or Superman) are superheroes or supervillains. One that stands out from that category is super spy James Bond, and with Daniel Craig's run as 007 nearing it's end, fans have been busy speculating about who could be next.

One very popular suggestion for the next Bond is our current celeb crush, Regé-Jean Page.

Page won basically everyone's hearts as the Duke of Hastings on Netflix's incredibly popular and steamy Bridgerton series, and it broke all of our hearts when it was announced he wouldn't be returning for season 2.

But fans have an idea what he could be doing with his extra time.

Fans have been busy speculating that Page could be the next James Bond.

It would be a great fit for him after all — I mean, he's handsome as hell, British, and can clearly carry himself with the kind of class, swagger, and charm necessary to pull off the role of 007 himself.

Page recently spoke out about these rumors in a new interview.

“Ah, the ‘B’ word," he said.

“I think that if you are British, and you do anything of note that other people take notice of, then people will start talking about that. I think that’s fairly normal and I’m flattered to be in the category of Brits that people have noticed," Page told The Mirror.

“I think the concept of having plans in this moment in history is mildly hilarious," Page went on.

"So, I’ve given up on making them,” he finished.

So it's not really a yes, but more importantly, it's also not a no!
