Brad Paisley And Wife Kimberly Say That The Secret To 18-Year Marriage Is 'Laughter'

Surviving 18 years with your significant other is no small feat — after that long, there's really nobody who knows you better, which means there's nobody who knows how to get on your nerves better too.

But when you're a celebrity couple, with all the added pressure that brings, 18 years is basically a miracle, and you should take any advice that couple has to offer pretty seriously!

Brad Paisley and Kimberly Williams-Paisley are a powerhouse couple.

On the one hand, you've got country music legend Brad Paisley, with 'Don't Drink The Water,' 'Whiskey Lullaby,' 'Remind Me,' and more smash hits under his belt.

On the other you have Kimberly, an actress we love to see in anything, including According To Jim and Nashville. Talk about a power couple!

The couple recently celebrated their 18th wedding anniversary!

While Brad celebrated by sharing an interesting choice of picture showing Kimberly mid-tears, Kimberly shared a sweet shot of the two of them together, writing, "18 years I’ve been married to this man!! I can’t believe all that’s happened and all that we’ve done in that time. Thank you for this adventure."

Brad and Kimberly shared their secret to such a long-lasting and happy marriage.

Kimberly explained that every year on their anniversary, they write down their "greatest hits" — their favorite memories from the past year.

"We record the meaningful moments, the best laughs. That's a big part of our relationship—focusing on the laughter and keeping a sense of play," she said.

Brad added that their relationship is "even better" now than it was when they first started dating.

"A lot of married couples would rather do anything but spend the evening together," Brad explained. "That's not the case in our house."

I have to admit I've sometimes had that feeling myself — but maybe if my husband was as cute as Brad Paisley it wouldn't be an issue!

Brad also added that the pandemic has changed their marriage for the better.

"She's used to three days a week at minimum that I'm gone, so we've learned a lot about ourselves this year," Brad said. "I figured out I really like being around you!"

That's the sweetest thing I've EVER heard! Now, if you'll excuse me, it's time for me to go subtly encourage my hubby to give this article a read and learn a thing or two!
