Pets in need of adoption often come from difficult backgrounds and diverse circumstances that may give them behavioral issues.
Along with that, some are born with temperaments that make it hard for them to get along with others, human or animal, naturally.
One woman looking find a furever home for the chihuahua she's been fostering held nothing back when it came to being brutally honest about the dog's many demonic-like issues.
According to a Facebook post from Tyfanee Fortuna, the 2-year-old chihuahua named Prancer arrived at his foster home weighing a few extra pounds, wearing a cashmere sweater, and with a "bacon egg n cheese" stuffed into his crate.
It was like the arrival of a little prince rather than a dog, and all thanks to his former owner who was an old woman. From the looks of it, she spoiled him rotten.
Armed with a severe lack of socializing from his former owner and general chihuahua anxiety, Prancer was super nervous when he arrived to his new home and kept to himself, avoiding both his foster mom and her 7 other dogs, plus 12 cats.
"I was excited to see him come out of his shell and become a real dog," Tyfanee wrote in her post. "I am convinced at this point he is not a real dog, but more like a vessel for a traumatized Victorian child that now haunts our home."
After learning more about this unique dog, Tyfanee took to Facebooktry and find Prancer a family, and she most certainly did not hold back.
Described as "demonic", apparently Prancer is also a "neurotic mess" who hates men and literally any other animal, and will not be shy about expressing his feelings. As for children? Best to keep them away, too.
"He’s never been in the presence of a child, but I can already imagine the demonic noises and shaking fury that would erupt from his body if he was," Tyfanee explained. "Prancer wants to be your only child."
While little Prancer has a seemingly overwhelming list of bad qualities, Tyfanee's post did include some positives. Prancer will probably never save anyone from being attacked, but he is a resilient protector to women and does form strong bonds with them.
Tyfanee added, "He likes to go for car rides, he is housebroken, he knows a few basic commands, he is quiet and non destructive when left alone at home, and even though we call him bologna face he is kind of cute to look at."
