Mom Mistakingly Gets 'Meaningless' Tattoo Design She Thought Was Drawn By Her Son

People who have tattoos know that deciding what to get can be a process. Figuring out what to put on your body forever is no easy task. Sometimes, we can't decide what we want. Other times, we know right away.

A lot of people believe that, "tattoos should have meaning."

Some believe that if you're going to ink something on your body forever, it should have some sort of meaning. But, there are others who believe the design should really come down to whatever you want.

Everyone's worst nightmare is having a mistake on their tattoo.

No one wants to sit for an entire tattoo only to find out that they have a mistake in their design, or they tattooed the wrong thing.

Not to mention, the annoyance of spending money on the wrong thing (or paying to have it fixed).

Tattoos aren't cheap. In fact, they're pretty expensive. So, if you get something that's later thought to be a "mistake," it's twice as painful and costly to get it fixed.

Recently, one mom revealed a huge error she made in her own tattoo.

Responding to a prompt on TikTok, the mom answered a video asking people to show their, "most meaningless tattoo."

The mom showed off a tattoo on the inside of her bicep.

The tattoo is a colorful drawing and it looks pretty cool if you take a closer look at it.

Originally, the mom thought her son had drawn it.

She said that she had thought it was an original drawing of her son's. Which, of course, would be so meaningful.

It turns out, the design wasn't made by her son.

It turns out that her son's friend actually drew it. So, she tattooed another random kid's drawing on her arm forever!

At first, everyone found this story hilarious.

People online could not stop laughing at how hilarious this situation was. Come on, you literally cannot make it up!

Some said they'd keep the tattoo just for the story.

Truly, it's a one-of-a-kind tattoo story that you can tell and make people laugh for years to come.

Others said it could be worth something one day.

As the art work is pretty good, some said his friend could become a "famous artist" and it could be worth good money one day!

It turns out, other parents have suffered similar situations.

One TikTok user said they framed a drawing that their son had made in their kitchen for 10 years until they found out that it wasn't their son's at all.

And, tons of people said they were now concerned.

TikTok parents were concerned after reading the comments and seeing the video, saying they need to check if their kid's art is really their kid's.

Another user added she also had an embarrassing tattoo error.

One TikTok user said she went to get a ram for her sign, Aries, as a tattoo. Instead, she ended up with a Capricorn sign.

Oops!

It's a lesson learned!

For anyone thinking of getting a tattoo of someone else's drawings, you may want to double-check with them before getting inked!
