Dad-To-Be Straps A Watermelon To Himself To Experience The Daily Struggles Of Pregnancy

Being pregnant takes a toll on women's bodies. Carrying around an entire human inside of our stomachs is no easy task. It takes a lot out of our bodies and takes a lot out of us. Every woman who has had a baby knows this to be true.

Everyday tasks become difficult when you're pregnant.

From putting on shoes to laying down in bed, women struggle with everyday things that are usually so easy to do.

Not all husbands or men understand this struggle.

Because men don't carry around a human inside of their stomachs, they don't really get the struggles women go through during pregnancy. It's impossible for them to understand completely, right?

Recently, one soon-to-be mom on TikTok found a solution to this problem.

User @cheyennefissori decided to teach her husband how it feels to be pregnant by making him walk around with a watermelon strapped to his stomach.

Putting on shoes was no easy task.

Lifting your legs or trying to bend to reach your feet is pretty hard to do when you have a huge bowling ball for a stomach.

Laying down is super uncomfortable when you're pregnant.

Trying to get comfortable is hard because you can't figure out which position feels best. Being on your side hurts and most doctors don't recommend sleeping on your back in the later stages of pregnancy.

Trying to get out of bed? Terrible.

Every soon-to-be mom struggles with trying to get up and out of bed. We're always falling over to the side and can't get up easily.

And, every pregnant woman knows picking things up is complicated.

Trying to pick things up off the floor is impossible when you are pregnant. Having a huge belly and reaching down? There's a good chance you may not get back up.

Many TikTok users say that men will still make pregnancy seem like it's "nothing."

One user said that men who try this experiment will say it's "easy," but they don't have an actual baby poking and kicking them all day long while they do this. There's no DIY experiment for that aspect of pregnancy yet!

One user said that people who try this experiment need "two watermelons."

Some say that one watermelon isn't enough, especially for moms on their second or third child. Instead, two watermelons would be better.

Do you agree? Try this with your own hubby!
