TikTok has lately become the hub of a lot of information. It's where we all go for quick makeup tutorials, and don't forget there are a plethora of #LifeHacks you absolutely can't miss.
It's one of those TikTok lifehacks I'll be talking about today, and it has to do with your toaster. I'm curious to find out whether you knew about it or not.
You insert your bread slices in the slots provided, set the desired temperature, push the leaver down, and start toasting. It's pretty elementary. Once the toast is ready, it pops up.
Everybody knows how to use the toaster unless they have been living under a rock, ha, ha! But as it turns out, not everyone knows about one specific toaster feature. Some folks were "today years old" when they found out about it.
Well, it's the fact that toasters come with a crumb tray. Oh, yes, you heard that right. Every toaster has a tray underneath the burners where the crumbs are collected. Did you know about that?
It's actually really important to empty it periodically. Why? It's because, over time, crumbs can pile up and make your food taste or smell burnt. Wow, that makes sense, no?
Oh, no! You definitely don't want to mess with that. That's why I always check the tray from time to time and get rid of the crumbs.
All you need to do is, pull it out, discard all the crumbs and wipe it with a cloth or a damp paper towel. That's it. Easy enough, right?
I don't remember how I found out about it. But I assume I just figured it out by looking at the toaster, ha, ha! I guess these folks did not.
... or, if you're like me, you're one of the folks who knew about this for a long time. I bet the people who already knew about crumb trays were scratching their heads in disbelief just like I was.
So now she can teach her kids the right way. I think that's a great idea. Kids need to soak up all that info now to get a headstart in life.
Sometimes all it takes is a day spend on TikTok to discover a better way of doing something, hee-hee. I bet this lady is so glad she stumbled upon this hack today.
Well, this hack serves as a reminder that you should. If TikTok taught me one thing, then this would be it. But then again, life gets in the way. Am I right?
