Mom On TikTok Warns Against BFF Tattoos After Her Friend Betrays Her

When it comes to getting tattoos, many people have a rule that they'll never get anyone's name tattooed on them who isn't a blood relative. Some say that getting a tattoo of anyone who is not your child or your family can be a bad idea.

Many say getting a tattoo with a boyfriend or girlfriend is never a good idea.

Getting a tattoo with your significant other's name or even matching ones can be a terrible idea because, well, what if you break up?

Even if you're close with someone, you never know what could happen.

Even though you might be in love, or think a friend will be in your life forever, things in life do happen. If you get a tattoo with that person, it could mean you're stuck with the reminder forever.

Just as a reminder...

Tattoos are permanent. And, even if you want to get it covered up or removed, that costs tons of money.

Recently on TikTok, women were giving people a good life lesson.

One TikTok user answered the prompt, "What's a mistake you learned the hard way that you can now help others avoid?" saying that you should never get a matching tattoo with your best friend.

And, another mom "remixed" the TikTok and added to it.

"It's only cool until she has an affair with your husband, takes over your entire life, and starts raising your children as if they're her own," the mom said.

Obviously, that's a lot to take in.

If you're wondering how she copes, she said, "So much therapy though, really... so much f****** therapy."

It turns out, Nikki, the mom, explained that she and her husband had an "open relationship." However, their rule was "no close friends."

In later videos, she explained the situation.

At a Halloween party, she saw her husband making out with her then best friend. She felt uncomfortable, and ended up leaving to stay over another man's house she was seeing.

From there, the ex-BFF and her husband kept seeing each other. And, they co-parent her son, too.

If you're wondering what the tattoo is, too...

The two have matching quotes and, to top it off, they also have morse code that reads "BFF." Yikes, that's a lot to have on you forever.

People on TikTok were shocked.

But, some came through with some funny jokes, like this one user who said, "She said same tattoo, same life." Even Nikki found it funny!
