Fans of Dexter (which, let's face it, is pretty much everyone) have a lot to celebrate this week! Not only are we getting some absolutely delicious teaser trailers for the upcoming limited series that are getting us SO excited, we also have confirmation that we'll be able to watch the whole thing a whole lot sooner than some of us were expecting!
'Dexter' Season 9 Will Be Dropping This Fall
*Dexter* is one of the best shows of all time.
What's not to love about a charming serial killer by night, forensic technician by day who only kills those he feels really deserves it?
Sure, the show's ending was... controversial, to say the least, but if you were unhappy with how the show ended, you should be very excited for what I'm about to tell you.
In October of 2020, it was confirmed that there would be a *Dexter* revival.
The limited series will take place after the eighth season and offer a brand new story (and ending!) for the beloved characters.
A new teaser trailer was just released showing off a very creepy smile from Dexter himself, but it also revealed something very important: when the show will be released.
In a blink-and-you'll-miss-it reveal at the end, the trailer states the new series will be coming "this fall."

Obviously, fans are extremely excited that we'll be able to see more Dexter on screens before the year is done and are sharing their excitement on social media.
