Outraged Delivery Driver Takes Food Back After Customer Gives $8 Tip
A discussion between a DoorDash delivery driver and a customer went viral as the driver demanded a higher tip.

All captured by the customer's Ring doorbell, the altercation began with the driver wanting to speak to him face-to-face. After being repeatedly asked why, she finally gave her reason.
The customer had given the driver an $8 tip, which she felt was unfair.

“I don’t think you realize the distance that it’s coming from because then you would never actually have given what you gave,” she said of the reportedly 40-minute drive she had made from the restaurant to the home. "Do you realize how far it is? Do you realize you ordered from Commack and you’re in Smithtown?"
The customer was not only stunned by this conversation as a whole, but also did not believe her.

He insisted that the drive would take 15-20 minutes, but the driver answered with, "I just drove it, it’s 40 minutes. It’s 12½ miles."
When asked why she took the job then, she explained that DoorDash doesn't reveal the distance until after the driver picks up the job.
She urged the man to 'make it right' by increasing the tip.

He didn't give in to her request, though, responding instead with, "What the hell are you looking for?! I gave an $8 tip!"
Her response to this was completely unexpected on the customer's end. She replied, "Okay, I’m gonna bring the food back," picked up the food, and brought it back down the driveway to her car!
The ultimate end of this altercation is a mystery, but it's safe to assume that guy didn't get his food back.
