Man's Perfect 'Schitt's Creek' Impression Turns Moira Rose Into A GPS Voice

Over the course of its six seasons, Schitt's Creek has had an incredible transformation from a cult favorite among Canadian viewers to a streaming phenomenon with millions of viewers and a total of 93 awards to its name.

And of course, nothing drives the laughs more than its beloved characters and the endearingly messy way they relate to each other. But none are quite as over the top as Catherine O'Hara's Moira Rose.

Between her old world vocabulary and her fascinatingly bizarre speaking style, Moira has delighted fans as a character who's both immensely quotable and just as hard to imitate.

But that hasn't stopped one actor from pulling it off and most recently, he's done so by scratching an itch that so many people didn't know they had.

Back in October, actor and writer Michael Judson Berry caught some buzz for his "QuaranTeaTime" video series where he impersonated the show's central Rose family.

As he told Huffpost, "My friends and I are SC fans. And I would do all characters, and I just consistently heard that my Moira was pretty good."

So when voice actress Laura Bailey tweeted in late April that she wanted Moira Rose as her GPS voice, Berry's fans jumped at the chance to send it to him.

Three days later, he released a TikTok video that made that dream a reality in the best way possible.

As he said, "I never really practiced. I’ve just always had an ear for voices."

And while it seems like it would be difficult to actually use this version of the GPS voice, Berry didn't miss a single one of Moira's signature mannerisms.

Whether it's the meandering tangents that focus on irrelevant details in the area, the priceless reaction to going the wrong way, or the fact that he was somehow able to work in her bizarre rendition of "Danny Boy" into the mix, there's a lot to love here.

And not to worry, Berry didn't forget to have her say "bébé."

But don't take my word for it, witness Moira Rose as a GPS voice in all its glory for yourself right here in Berry's viral TikTok.

Hopefully, Berry's impression does as much for your day as it has for his vocabulary.

In his words, "And [I love] all of the fabulous new words I’ve learned, like floccinaucinihilipilification."
