It should come as a surprise to NO ONE that older generations aren't exactly the best at modern technology.

Texting is no exception. That's exactly why this super inventive grandson built a device to make texting easier for his grandma!

It's the perfect (and sweetest) tool to make connecting easier during the coronavirus pandemic.

Ever since the coronavirus pandemic began, connecting virtually became more important than ever.

But while most younger folks caught the hang of Zoom calls and regular texting pretty quick, it's been more of a struggle for older generations.

This is exactly the problem software engineer Manuel Lucio Dallo set out to solve with his Yayagram device.

It's a user-friendly device that sends out voice messages and prints out received answers.

He created it after noticing that his grandmother was having trouble using the phone due to her hearing problems.

This inventive grandson introduced the world to the genius device on Twitter.

Through a series of tweets, he went to great length to share exactly how it works.

Adorable fun fact: it's named after "yaya," which means “granny” in Castilian.

The Yayagram has been a huge hit on Twitter!

"Genius! I was musing over a system to help my elderly parents communicate with their children and grandchildren," one wrote. "I love everything about this. Most excellent work!" added another.
