Fugitive Sent Selfie To Police Because He Didn't Like His 'Terrible' Mugshot

Getting arrested is bad.

Getting arrested, and having a dumb-looking mugshot that gets plastered across the internet, is even worse.

That's the predicament an Ohio man found himself in after he was booked by police. But he had a solution for his unflattering mugshot.

Donald "Chip" Pugh was recently arrested by the Lima, Ohio police.

Pugh was booked on suspicion of arson and vandalism. As is standard procedure, police took his fingerprints and a mugshot. The mugshot above is an earlier one of Pugh. The one that attracted his ire is below.

Here's the shot.

I don't think he looks that bad for someone who just got arrested, but evidently Pugh had other ideas. After seeing how he looked, he decided the police should have a more flattering pic.

This is Pugh's suggested mugshot.

I mean, it's not really a mugshot per se, but he does look pretty cool here. After texting this to police, he actually went on the run and is currently a fugitive — not just from the fashion police, but also from the real-world police.

What would you do for a good mugshot?

I mean, you never want to have your mugshot taken. But if you do wind up in this predicament, you at least want to look good, right?
