Unless you've been living under a rock, you've most definitely heard about the whole Adam Sandler IHOP situation. To be fair, the story of Adam leaving an IHOP after refusing to wait 30 minutes for mediocre breakfast food hit home for a lot of fans. Plus, Adam was a total gentleman about the whole thing!
Now, the actor is making his fateful return to said IHOP to reunite with the employee who helped the story go viral.
Sharing the experience on the app (yes, because TikTok is an app, not the sound a clock makes), Dayanna shared CCTV footage inside the restaurant, which shows her telling Adam it’ll be a 30-minute wait, not releasing she was speaking with the famous actor.
A week later, the comedian responded to the viral video.
"For the record, I only left the IHOP because the nice woman told me the all-you-can-eat deal didn’t apply to the milkshakes," Adam tweeted.
On May 10, @dayanna.rodas posted another TikTok promoting IHOP's Milkshake Monday, an event in which it would actually be possible to enjoy as many milkshakes are your heart desires. As the restaurant chain said in a statement the promotion was "sparked by one very famous fan's penchant for milkshakes, following his viral visit to a busy IHOP restaurant last week."
Sharing a series of fun photos from the event, Dayanna captioned the video "Couldn't have been more excited!!! Thank you Adam Sandler!"
Sorry, why doesn't my local IHOP send me personalized videos to let me know about their specials?
Sharing a picture of his sweet pup surrounded by shakes, Adam wrote: "Thank u IHOP for Milkshake Monday."
