Stack Old Tires To Make A Whimsical Teacup Planter That Looks Straight From Wonderland

Gardening season is upon us, so I'm already looking for creative ideas for our backyard space. One great way to spruce up your garden is to create fun and whimsical planters.

I already told you how folks are turning old furniture into funky planters, but now I've got another cool idea for you. It will require some creative DIY skills, okay?

This latest idea involves old tires.

Yes, you heard that right. If you've got an old set of tires, don't get rid of them. Instead, you can use them to make the cutest teacup planters. Let's find out more about it. Shall we?

The idea is quite simple.

You will need just a few supplies to accomplish this task. First of all, as I said, you'll need some old tires. You can use two or three or even more. Now, let's move on to the other tools.

The other tools you will need are a jigsaw, a drill, some long screws, and spray paint.

The first thing you do is cut the tires with the jigsaw. Then, you will need to bolt them together using your drill.

Once you've bolted the tires together, you need to make the teacup handle.

You can attach the handle to the tires by holding it with your foot. Now comes the fun part. It's the time when you can move on to making the teacup look pretty.

The best way to do so is to spray the whole thing with spray paint.

Pick a color that's vibrant and goes well with your garden. I would probably pick something like pink, baby blue, yellow, or even red to make the scenery pop.

And if you want to get even fancier, you can paint the teacup with some decorative accents.

I definitely love polka dots and flowers, but the choice is yours. Make it look as whimsical and as fun as you desire.

That's it, folks. It's really as easy as that.

The hard part is to figure out where you're going to put this tire teacup planter in your garden. I would probably put mine close to the raised bed garden I'm planning.

This idea could also work out well to decorate your front lawn.

You can have a few of these tire teacup planters all over your property. This way, you can pick a few different colors and have more fun with creating them.

So are you ready to start creating your own tire teacup planter?

I have to admit I'm pretty intrigued by this concept. Now, I need to convince my fiancé to give up his old tires so I can make this for our backyard, hee-hee.
