No, really. Designer Richard O’Gorman had one idea in mind when he began renovating his home: make it bright, make it chic, make it gay. With that in mind, he launched his Instagram, where he documents his journey turning his house into a rainbow fantasy that I would kill to live in. Let's check it out!

His home, which is a Victorian Terrace-style house, needed some love. While it had some updates done, none of it was in Richard's style. It needed a little something.
He got to work transforming his home from drab to quite literally fab. The kitchen is just a small taste of Richard's style, which involves bold, yet pleasing colors, and a lot of architectural paint moments.
I really love that Richard chose to keep a lot of the home's original wood elements. I don't find anything wrong with painting it, but I appreciate people who choose to restore it!
This is how Richard bought it. The room clearly had good bones, a gorgeous fireplace, and some real potential with the floors. It just needed some updating, which Richard was happy to take on.
His first go at the dining room happened during England's first COVID-19 lockdown in 2020. He chose a bright orange for the walls, added in some gorgeous furniture, and went for a large, statement rug.
Richard went all out. He told Insider, "My plan is always to keep things minimal and then it just snowballs away from me."
I'll say. And it snowballs in the best way, especially if you're into more of a maximalist style!
This is not your grandma's bedroom! Richard ditched the floral wallpaper and added in a lot of bold, emerald green. He did a textured arch on the wall and did a hot pink trim around the top quarter of the wall!
While the rest of the internet is currently going for an all-white, boho type style, Richard is doing his own thing. I love that he's unafraid of color, and doesn't hesitate to do whatever he wants with his own home!
