People Can't Decide If This 'Ultimate Spaghetti Trick' Is A Viral Troll Or Serious

The things people will do for a shot at internet virality can be pretty silly sometimes.

This Facebook video shows what the page calls the 'ultimate spaghetti trick' and shows a woman serving a large spaghetti dinner right on her countertop.

The comments are rife with discussion about the video, with many unable to tell if it's a troll or completely serious.

The internet is filled with cooking hacks, the legitimacy of which vary from extremely useful to just strange.

A new hack has recently entered the scene and is making waves. Not good waves, though; bad ones. Utterly terrible ones.

The video, posted by a Facebook page named Josh and Lisa, features presumably Lisa preparing and serving pasta right off her counter while another female friend records the process.

It starts out strong, with two large containers of pasta sauce being poured right on the counter.

"This is the easiest way to make spaghetti for a crowd," the subject of the video explains after saying she has friends coming over later. "And it's fun! It's all just right in front of you, you don't have to worry about dishes or a mess [...]."

After the counter is properly covered, she adds meatballs, parmesan cheese, and finally, spaghetti.

She pours the first two in rows, then grabs fistfuls of spaghetti with her hands and evenly distributes it along the sauce.

Once it's all down, she proceeds to use tongs to mix it together. While she's folding the pasta into itself, her friend asks, "Where did you see this? Like, is this a family tradition?"

Our protagonist replies, "Um, well, I'm Italian, and real Italians— this is how you make spaghetti."

Don't think she forgot about sides! Once the main course is done, she adds a serving of salad and bread as well.

"This is, like, everything you need," the chef says as it's all laid out before her, her friend repeating the statement in agreement. "This is the definition of family style."

The comments are filled with people affronted by this act, whether or not they believe it to be genuine.

"Is this performance art? Captivating," writes one user, who is at least trying to find a positive spin for the video.

Others are not so kind. "This is what's happening. We're going back to the stone ages where y'all need to relearn how to cook and shower and maybe return to being humans. That's got to be it. No other explanation," writes another.

Lastly, there are those offended by the video on behalf of Italians. One person asks, "What Italian eats sauce out of a jar? Never in my life."

Whether the video is a genuine 'hack' or a ploy for views, it certainly got our attention!
