Brewery Introduces 'Green Screen IPA' For Discreet Sipping On Zoom Calls

It's been a long year with a lot of long Zoom calls. For many, it's hard to think of work without the thought of enduring another virtual meeting. It's become so commonplace that it's just part of the routine, but that doesn't mean they need to stay boring.

A Canadian brewery has designed the perfect drink to have with you during your next digital workplace gathering.

With Zoom calls now a staple in the modern work environment, companies are starting to think up ways to spice them up a little.

The latest in video call stealth innovation comes from R&B Brewing Co. out of Vancouver, and introduces a discreet way to enjoy a beer while on calls.

Called Green Screen IPA, this beer disappears when on camera, making it the perfect secret sip.

Not sure how green screens work? Not to worry, R&B Brewing has you covered.

The directions are not only available in easy-to-understand graphics on their website, but they're also printed directly onto the can.

You just have to make sure you're holding it the right way so the label doesn't show up, but otherwise, it blends itself into the background rather beautifully.

Workplace video calls are about to either become a lot better or a lot more chaotic.

I can't help but wonder how many will actually try to get away with it. I wish them luck, so long as they're drinking responsibly of course.

As the company puts it in the caption of their Instagram post about the beer, "[...] if you feel like you want a beer after enduring hours and hours of virtual meetings, we think you should be able to."
