It's easy to believe that celebrities live luxurious, sheltered lives that we can only dream of.
That may be true, but sometimes, one of these stars shares a story that reminds us that they're not so different from us.
Chris Evans marked National Rescue Dog Day by sharing a story about the time he was shooting a movie and wound up taking home a new best friend.
Chris Evans, who's one of Hollywood's most important guys named Chris, has been going hard on the dog posts lately on Instagram. The other day, he shared a story that kind of explains the whole thing.
His doggo, named Dodger, came from Savannah, Georgia. Evans says he was shooting a movie with a scene at an animal shelter when he met little Dodger for the first time.
"...but the minute I saw him I knew he was coming home with me," wrote Evans.
Sure enough, he adopted Dodger, and now this very good boy is the star of about half of Evans' Insta posts.
"There are so many loving animals at shelters who are in desperate need of a home," he wrote. "Visit a shelter and leave with a best friend."
See, celebs aren't so different than us: they also become enraptured with stray animals and bring them home.
