More often, parents are looking to name their children with names that are not as common in society.
No parent wants their children to go into class in school and be one of six of the same-named children—it can be a lot to decide when you're naming a child.
Elon Musk and his wife Grimes had brought their baby into the world, which had dozens of people on the Internet trying to figure out how to pronounce the name "X Æ A-12."
Definitely one of the most unique names we have ever seen.
According to Grimes, the Æ is pronounced like the letters "A. I."
This is meant to reference artificial intelligence. Hey, not the way I would do things, but whatever works.
Elon said on the Joe Rogan Experience podcast, "I mean it's just X, the letter X, and the 'Æ' is pronounced, 'Ash,' and then, A-12 is my contribution."

When some families bring babies into the world, they have traditions on who the baby will be named after.
Some cultures have the baby named after the father, while others only have the baby named after someone who is deceased.
The baby, who was born on April 27 in Cotabato province of the Philippines, has been giving one of the most unique names that we have ever seen.
It's pretty complicated to read and pronounce.
The actual birth name of the baby boy is "Ghlynnyl Hylhyr Yzzyghyl Mampuan Buscato."
The baby's first name "Ghlynnyl Hylhyr Yzzyghyl," which, at first glance, is completely complicated to even look at. But, the reason behind the name is quite touching.
Now, THAT is dedication and love, if you ask me.
According to Vice, the baby's name came from taking letters from different family member's names.
For example, in “Glhynnyl,” the letters G and N come from the baby's mother Geraldine, while N, Y, and L were taken from the baby’s grandmother Joralyn.
The letter "Y" was also symbolic.
Therefore, adding the Y letters was important to them. Clearly, this family is close and very important to each other.
The baby's grandfather told Good Morning America that the hospital that processed the baby's birth certificate had made an error and had to reprint the document altogether, fixing the spelling of his name entirely.
Yikes, that's a bad mistake.
The baby's grandfather, who came up with the idea to name him in the first place, decided to help the entire family out by giving him a meaningful (yet funny) nickname to remember him.
Which, in my humble opinion, is actually a crazy cool nickname.
However, for some, while it is touching and meaningful, it is definitely a confusing one.
"We will explain the origin of his name so that he will have an idea. The child will know the importance of his name," the grandfather said.
Honestly, for the most part, it's cute.
