Next Time You Replace A Wall Consider Building It With Lego

Lego has done a great job of staying current, releasing new kits every month in order to stay relevant and in demand.

As more and more of these kits come out, their audience has been building to include an ever-growing number of excited adults.

With kits like their Friends Apartment set, Vincent Van Gogh's 3D Starry Night, and their New World Map kit, adults now more than ever can get in on the Lego fun.

Why not bring Lego into your home design?

But, did you ever think that would extend into home design? Seen in numerous art installations around the world, Lego has become more than just a toy.

Doing the same but taking it one step further, creative German duo NPIRE decided to build a full-sized wall spanning the width of their office, complete with an arched doorway and everything.

Using their own personal Lego blocks from childhood as well as 80 additional Lego kits, the entire project took them a whole year to complete.

It doesn't look half-bad!

Over 55,000 bricks later, the wall is three feet wide and encases two wooden shelving units — both practical, and visually impactful.

Overall I'd say the whole thing looks pretty damn good. And with the cost of lumber nowadays, who knows? Maybe the overall cost would be comparable!
