Becoming a parent is always special, no matter how many times you have a child.
For gay couples who have to go through different means to have a child, it can be especially special when they finally get the child they have been waiting for, as they might not have thought it would ever have happened for them.
People always talk about how there is nothing more incredible than seeing your baby for the first time.
It's something that is truly treasured by many. It's considered a miracle for a reason.
And I'm not talking about people who don't want to be parents.
Sometimes, the process to becoming a parent can be so incredibly difficult due to difficulties that people can give up.
A lot of people in the LGBT+ community want to be parents, but it's a lot harder for them to become parents for a number of reasons.
But luckily, that isn't the case for all of them.
The universe has to be kind sometimes, am I right?
That was exactly what happened to the next couple we're going to talk about.
They got everything they wanted out of life thanks to their little girl, Charlotte.
For them, it was "the moment our lives became complete."
Ben has shared the video before on Instagram and loves documenting everything Charlotte gets up to.
"Parenting is about love, and we have so much love to give."
"[Our birth mom] was 6 months pregnant when we were matched," Aaaron told another outlet, Gays With Kids.
"[She] was so amazing to let us be a part of that. Treated us as if we were actually the biological fathers of our baby."
"We still are able to do everything we did in our old life - dinners, travel, movies, etc. - however, we have this beam of light who gives us purpose every day."
How sweet!
They are a gorgeous, happy family, and honestly, we could not be any happier for this family.
They totally deserve it.
