Mary-Kate And Ashley Olsen Open Up About Their 'Discreet' Life In Rare New Interview

Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen are two of the most iconic sisters in pop culture history. They truly were the epitome of low-key celebrities. Their private lives have always been just that — private. After the pair's last film, New York Minute hit theaters in 2004, the twins stepped away from the spotlight.

Now, in a recent interview, fans are finally seeing what their favorite sibling duo has been up to.

Ready to feel old? Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen recently celebrated their 35TH BIRTHDAYS! This reminds me I need to buy more eye cream...

Growing up with these two feels like it was a great privilege.

Kids today have no idea what they're missing with no Full House or So Little Time.

Now, the pair is letting fans into their private lives with a new interview.

It's rare that MK and Ash bless us with an interview, so when it does happen, it's a really big DEAL!

They don't have social media, okay? We get like no updates on them ever!

The pair chatted with *i-D* magazine about their fashion label The Row, their discreet lifestyle, and what they're looking forward to in the future.

"We’re a bit out of practice," warned Mary-Kate at the beginning of the interview.

"I think we’re very much perfectionists and hard workers and we’ve always been hard workers," she said of their fashion label. "So, I am happy that people look at it as a perfect product, or products that feel complete, or whole."

"We really didn’t want to be in front of it," Ashley added.

"We didn’t necessarily even want to let people know it was us, in a way. I mean, it was one of those things where it was really about the product, to the point where we’re like, ‘Who could we get to kind of front this so we don’t have to?’ I think, to this day, you’ll see we really put the product first."

"We were raised to be discreet people," Mary-Kate later said.
