Our Girls Are Back! Fans Get First Look At 'Sex And The City' Reboot Series

Okay, let's see if I can get through this article without making a cosmopolitan and crying tears of joy.

THE DAY IS FINALLY HERE, LADIES AND GENTLEMEN! After over 6 months of rumours swirling, scripts being written and conspiracies being penned, the Sex and the City reboot series, And Just Like That is finally, FINALLY being filmed!

*Sex and The City* is undoubtedly one of the most iconic shows of all time. Carrie, Charolette, Miranda and Samantha are names that heal me. Nurture me. Protect me.

The iconic and show ran on HBO from the summer of 1998 to winter 2004.

Audiences fell in love with the characters, their lovah's and the undying friendship of these four SOULMATES.

It was announced at the beginning of this year that HBO Max had ordered the long awaited revival.

The show's revival is titled And Just Like That… and will star our ladies Sarah Jessica Parker, Cynthia Nixon, and Kristin Davis.

Of course, the revival will be missing one key player, Kim Cattrall.

However, if you've been following her drama with Sarah Jessica Parker, this didn't come as much of a surprise.

Besides Kim, though, *everyone else* is coming back.

According to Variety the revival will follow our favorite ladies as they navigate love and friendship in their 50s.

Just as we have all grown and learned in the past 20 years, so have our girls!

Despite rumours at the beginning of the year that actor Chris Noth wasn't reviving Mr. Big — our John James Preston is coming back!

And, if you're Team Aiden, fear not — he's coming back as well!

In an interview with Page Six earlier this year, John Corbett confirmed that he will be returning for the revival to reprise his role as Carrie's ex-fiancé and furniture designer Aidan Shaw.

"I’m going to do the show," he said, adding that returning to the beloved role is "very exciting."

When asked how many episodes we would be in, John teased: "I think I might be in quite a few."

HBO's president of programming, Casey Bloys, made it clear that the network isn't "trying to re-do" *Sex and the City.*

"They're not trying to say that these characters are reliving their 30s," he explained.

Of the cast and crew of the legendary HBO series, he added, "I like all those people, they’ve been very nice to me."

And yes, in case you were wondering, David Eigenberg's Steve will be coming back along with Mario Cantone (Anthony Marantino), Willie Garson (Stanford Blatch), and Evan Handler (Harry Goldenblatt).

YAAAY!

"It is very much a story about women in their 50s, and they are dealing with things that people deal with in their 50s."

As for how the show will handle Samantha's absence, Casey explained it will mimic real-life relationships.

"Just as in real life, people come into your life, people leave."

Casey continued: "Friendships fade, and new friendships start. So I think it is all very indicative of the real stages, the actual stages of life."

Now, we finally have a first look from the ladies on set and omg, they look AH-MAZ-ING!

It feels like no time has passed, which makes my heart long for them even more!
