Congratulations are in order for Modern Family star Eric Stonestreet, who recently got engaged to his longtime girlfriend, pediatric nurse Lindsay Schweitzer.
The pair, who met in 2016 at a charity event, have kept their relationship relatively low-key (by Hollywood standards) and now, friends and fans alike are celebrating the happy pair's big news in a series of comments on social media.
People was first to report that the two-time Emmy-winning actor was dating the pediatric nurse in 2017 after they met at the the Big Slick charity weekend in Kansas City the year before.
"They're enjoying spending time together."

Posting a series of engagement photos on his social media to share the exciting news, Eric wrote: "She said, 'She’d have her people call my people.'"
That ring is absolutely gorgeous — it looks like all those seasons of Modern Family certainly paid off.
